TGIF–Dance Version!

Our first dance party of November–last Friday, November 1st–was a welcome distraction.  Our deejay, DJ Bulee, brought the beats with a themed mix centered around a celebration of FRIDAY.  I don’t know about you, but starting my weekend by shaking and grooving away the past stresses of the work week feels like a party.  DJ Bulee gave us a wide variety of danceable hits to inspire–from country twang to classic disco to New Jack Swing–the floor was hot and the dancers were movin.’

“Everybody, move your body….”

Thanks to Bulee for another fantastic mix.  Check out her complete playlist below:

There’s plenty to celebrate this month.  Our next dance party is Friday, November 15th–but we also have a fifth Friday this month–on Friday Nov. 29th.  Our fifth Friday this month, we will be dancing to songs from the soundtracks of movies directed by Quentin Tarantino.  Oh yeah.  I’ll let leak a teaser:  we’ll be dancing to music found in Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, and more.  You don’t want to miss this!

But before Quentin Taratino, we’ll be dancing on Friday, Nov. 15th, 8pm at Martell’s School of Dance in Highland Square, as usual.  I want to burn a few extra calories and enjoy my Thanksgiving meal guilt-free!  I’ll see you on the dance floor.
